EPA to force the removal of leaking acids from deteriorating pulp mill
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said it will order the removal of leaking acids from an old pulp mill. The mill is located along the Chehalis River in Washington state and is no longer operating. Officials confirmed the acids are toxic and highly corrosive. Workers will pump out and safely dispose of the chemicals.
