Pritzker for president? Handicapping the Illinois governor’s political future

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker says he is concentrating on winning a third term in the November election. He has repeatedly stated that he has not yet decided whether to run for president in 2028. Nevertheless, he is appearing in national presidential polls and is building alliances with state party leaders. He is also looking into fundraising options that do not rely on his own money, in case he decides to run.
