Rant and Rave: Reader disappointed by Apple Cup date change
A reader wrote to the Seattle Times saying he is upset because the Apple Cup football game was moved from Saturday, Sept. 5 to Sunday, Sept. 6. He will turn 80 on Sept. 5 and had planned to watch the game and celebrate his birthday with friends. This is the first time in 126 years that the Apple Cup is scheduled on a Sunday.
