Typhoon Bavi makes landfall in eastern China as more than 1 million are evacuated
Typhoon Bavi made landfall on the eastern coast of China. More than one million people were evacuated to safe areas before the storm arrived. Before reaching China, the typhoon brought strong winds and rain to Japan's southern islands and Taiwan. This is the second typhoon to hit China in just over a week.
