It’s another big weekend for award-watchers, as two of the biggest guild award shows are set to give us our last close looks at the state of some key Oscar categories . Tomorrow night will see the Actors Awards (formerly the Screen Actors Guild Awards) honor the best acting performances of 2025, but tonight is all about the producers. The Producers Guild of America Awards are taking place live from the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, honoring the people who made our favorite films and shows of the year happen. All eyes will be on the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, which has predicted the ultimate Best Picture winner in 17 of the last 22 years. With all of the major Oscar nominees in the mix, its winner will become the immediate frontrunner for the Academy Award.
