Ex-Prince Andrew moves out of royal home amid new Epstein revelations

Among the newly released documents is a 2011 letter from a lawyer claiming that Mountbatten-Windsor and Epstein invited an unidentified exotic dancer to engage in various sex acts during a party with other young women, some of whom appeared to be as young as 14 years old. The letter further alleges that the woman was offered a trip to the Virgin Islands, which she declined, and was later paid $250,000 to keep her interactions with Epstein and Mountbatten-Windsor private. Additionally, the documents include an alleged email exchange between Mountbatten-Windsor and Epstein, in which the royal invites Epstein to have dinner at Buckingham Palace, offering to bring along several women to 'add some life.' The revelations have intensified pressure on Mountbatten-Windsor to testify and cooperate with investigators. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has stated that anyone with information should be prepared to share it, while Epstein survivor Lisa Phillips has expressed that Mountbatten-Windsor testifying would be significant. Mountbatten-Windsor has not responded to requests from the U.S. House Oversight Committee to hold a transcribed interview about his friendship with Epstein. King Charles stripped his brother of his royal titles last year following intense scrutiny over his association with Epstein and allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she was trafficked to engage in sex with Mountbatten-Windsor when she was underage. Mountbatten-Windsor denied these allegations but reached a settlement with Giuffre in 2022, reportedly paying her around $16 million. The recent revelations have further complicated Mountbatten-Windsor's position, with Thames Valley Police assessing allegations that Epstein sent a second woman to the U.K. for a sexual encounter with Mountbatten-Windsor at Royal Lodge in Windsor in 2010. The move to Sandringham marks a significant shift in Mountbatten-Windsor's living arrangements, as he transitions from a royal residence to a private estate, reflecting the ongoing fallout from his controversial past.
