📖 Full Retelling
In 'Stolen', former MMA fighter Lin Haiya, now living under the alias Chen after undergoing cosmetic surgery following a gangster's murder of his family, teams up with Officer Wang to rescue Mina's kidnapped daughter Di from human trafficker Paquin, whom Lin had initially agreed to rob for over a decade ago before their falling out led to tragedy. The film follows Chen's double life as a quiet cook for Mina while harboring his secret identity and past, a carefully constructed facade that shatters when Mina takes in a woman fleeing Paquin's human trafficking operations. In retaliation, the ruthless gangster not only recovers the woman but also abducts Mina's young daughter Di, forcing Chen to confront his past and join forces with law enforcement to save the innocent child. The action-packed narrative escalates as Chen and Officer Wang navigate dangerous encounters, likely involving high-speed chases on trains, aerial confrontations aboard a hijacked plane, and underwater sequences with stolen submarines, all while racing against time to rescue Di from Paquin's clutches.
