📖 Full Retelling

The film 'In the Blink of an Eye' has been released to critical examination as it attempts to encompass the entirety of human history through three interconnected stories, though critics suggest the ambitious project may have been better suited as a mini-series rather than a feature-length film. The review highlights the film's fundamental weakness in trying to cram too much content into a single cinematic experience. Between its meditations on the human experience, the movie presents intriguing concepts about evolution and coexistence with species similar to but not exactly Homo sapiens. However, these potentially profound ideas never fully develop, leaving audiences wanting more depth on subjects that are not merely theoretical but actively debated in contemporary society through opinion columns, academic discussions, and social media platforms. The film's ambitious scope ultimately prevents it from achieving the necessary emotional impact to truly resonate with viewers.

And they probably should, in a world in which those questions are not just theoretical but fodder for opinion columns, college courses and social media arguments.
