Ukrainian military drone simulator adapted for video gamers in world first

While many games offer similar FPV warfare experiences, UFDS is the first developed directly from military software, raising ethical concerns about the realism of piloting deadly drones. Plaksin acknowledged these concerns but noted that the game is not unique in this regard and emphasized that the publicly available version does not share sensitive tactical information with potential adversaries. The game is part of a broader trend of using video games for military recruitment and training, following examples like the U.S. Army's 'America's Army' series. Despite its niche appeal, with around 50 daily online players, Plaksin hopes to broaden the game's reach through organized championships to maximize player engagement and competition.
