Actor Awards Dates Set for 2027 and 2028

The Actor Awards, which took place this year on March 1, will be held in 2027 on Sunday, Feb. 28, and in 2028 on Sunday, Feb. 20. As was the case with this year’s ceremony, both of those ceremonies will kick off at 8 am ET/5 pm PT and stream live on Netflix. Perhaps most notably, the 2027 Actor Awards will take place while the final round of Oscars voting is still open (Feb. 25-March 1). That happened this year, and many believe that seeing Actor Award statuettes presented to Sinners ’ Michael B. Jordan for best actor, One Battle After Another ’s Sean Penn for best supporting actor and Weapons ’ Amy Madigan for best supporting actress may have influenced Academy members to choose the same winners in those hotly-contested categories. SAG-AFTRA, the world’s largest union of actors, will announce other related key dates and deadlines in the coming weeks.
