Asian defense stocks rise as US-Iran conflict stokes geopolitical tensions

Defense and heavy equipment manufacturers across Asia saw their stocks rise on Monday as an escalation in the U.S.-Iran conflict stoked concerns over prolonged geopolitical unrest in the Middle East. The market reaction reflects how investors are positioning themselves for potential increased defense spending and heightened security measures in the region. Asian defense companies, which had been underperforming in recent months, suddenly found favor with investors as geopolitical tensions ratcheted up.
