SASKATOON, Saskatchewan - Cameco Corp. (TSX:CCO; NYSE:CCJ) announced today it has signed a long-term agreement to supply nearly 22 million pounds of uranium ore concentrate to India’s Department of Atomic Energy over a nine-year period. The announcement comes as the uranium producer’s shares have surged 169% over the past year, bringing its market capitalization to $51.5 billion.
