(NYSE:CCO) announced Thursday that the 45-day “go-shop” period under its previously disclosed merger agreement expired at 11:59 p.m. New York City time on March 26. The announcement was made in a statement based on a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The merger agreement, dated February 9, 2026, is between Clear Channel Outdoor, Madison Parent Inc., and Madison Merger Sub Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Madison Parent. If completed, the agreement provides that Madison Merger Sub will merge with and into Clear Channel Outdoor, with the company continuing as a wholly owned subsidiary of Madison Parent.The timing of the transaction comes as Clear Channel Outdoor shares trade at $2.37, near their 52-week high of $2.43, following a remarkable 112% gain over the past year.
