Crispin Glover Denies Woman’s Lawsuit Alleging Grooming, Assault and Civil Rights Violations

Glover, best known for his breakout role as father George McFly in the beloved 1985 blockbuster Back to the Future , is being accused by a woman identified only as “Jane Doe” in the civil suit filed in California Superior Court. He is accused of battery and assault; fraud and wrongful eviction; malicious prosecution and intentional infliction of emotional distress; and a violation of California’s civil rights statute, the Bane Act. The suit alleges that Glover, who has been single for most of his life, and Doe, a former model, entered a relationship after meeting online in 2015. Glover, she states in the lawsuit, asked her to move to Los Angeles from the U.K. for years, with the promise of a place to live and work in the entertainment industry as his assistant. They initially met face-to-face in Dresden, Germany, in 2023. Doe alleges in the filing that there, he showed her pieces of his personal Nazi memorabilia collection.
