Disney ’ s partnership with Sora may have ended before it even got started but the Mouse House has struck a very different kind of deal for its characters. Disney is pairing with nascent platform Comixit! to bring webtoons to fans in EMEA. Comixit!, which was founded last year by Envision Entertainment CEO Michael Nakan and says it is the first UK and one of the first European webtoon platforms, will base digital comics on more than 100 properties from Disney, Pixar and 20th Century Studios including recent releases like Zootopia 2 . Webtoons already available include Zootopia miniseries Olaf’s Comic Collection and the Agent Stitch graphic novel series. More will roll out through the year.
