And this week on Face the Nation: continued conflicting messages out of the White House when it comes to the war against Iran and why Americans are increasingly bearing the brunt of Washington's action or inaction. It's a spectacular spring in the nation's capital, but Congress has fled the city after showing they're incapable of consensus when it comes to funding the Homeland Security Department. President Trump says he will use other means to pay TSA officers until an agreement is reached. But will that be enough to ease the long security lines at some of the country's busiest airports while the House and Senate are out of town for the next two weeks? Another spring break frustration for Americans, skyrocketing gas prices due to the war in Iran, which has now entered its second month. The conflict is only intensifying, and U.S. preparations for a ground offensive are ramping up, despite the president's insistence that Iran has been devastated.
