EXCLUSIVE: Hugh Bonneville ( Notting Hill ) and Heidi Kadlecová have signed on as Executive Producers on the feature documentary Everybody to Kenmure Street ahead of its UK and Irish release on March 13. The film debuted at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it won the World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Civil Resistance, before playing the Glasgow Film Festival. Everybody to Kenmure Street also won the Irish Council for Civil Liberties Human Rights Film Award at the Dublin International Film Festival following its Irish premiere. Everybody to Kenmure Street charts the events of the spontaneous community protest on Glasgow’s Kenmure Street, when hundreds united to stop the deportation of their neighbours. The protest drew international attention and became a landmark moment in grassroots civic action. The film is the second feature by Felipe Bustos Sierra and includes reenactments with contributors such as Emma Thompson, also an Executive Producer on the film, and Kate Dickie.
