Jason Donner , who had been a Capitol Hill producer, filed suit almost three years ago , claiming that he was dismissed after complaining about the network’s coverage of the aftermath of he 2020 presidential election and the attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. A federal judge, Christopher Cooper, tossed out that part of the lawsuit in 2024, but allowed another claim — that Donner was retaliated against for calling in sick — to proceed.
