Adjusted earnings per share fell 29% to $0.04 as gross margin declined to 32.8% amid higher component prices. The company reported adjusted pretax profit of $3.60 million and pretax profit of $3.20 million. Quixant gaming hardware platform sales rose during the period, with new customer wins and expanded product offerings offsetting reduced volumes from the historically largest customer. The gross margin decline was attributed to higher memory component prices and changes in customer and product mix, particularly as AI-driven demand tightened DDR4 and DDR5 supply. Revenue concentration risk materialized as the largest customer was acquired, leading to a 70% drop in its volume and requiring Nexteq to diversify and replace lost sales at lower margins. The company completed a share buyback and acquired a new Taipei office, funded partly by mortgage. Nexteq expects reduced Quixant revenue in 2026 following the acquisition of its largest customer. The company said component shortages, tariffs and geopolitical risks are creating customer uncertainty in 2026.
