Leading the horror offerings is Vietnamese creature feature “Hell Trotter” (original title: “Heo Năm Móng”), directed by Lưu Thành Luân. The film centers on a YouTuber who travels to a sacred shrine to investigate the legend of the mysterious Five-Toed Pig, setting off a chain of supernatural events that exposes a long-concealed secret. The title is the third entry in the Vietnamese “Folk Spiritual Horror Universe,” following “Crimson Snout” (“Quỷ Cẩu”) and “Spirit Whisker: The Revenant” (“Linh Miêu: Quỷ Nhập Tràng”), which together have taken approximately $7.5 million at the local box office.
