Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu director and producer Jon Favreau will be the headliner this year at CinemaCon ‘s Creative Community Luncheon, which in years past has featured such talent as Glen Powell, Colman Domingo, Josh Brolin, Edgar Wright, Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio, Elizabeth Banks, Jerry Bruckheimer, Patty Jenkins, and Jon M. Chu. The event will be held on the final afternoon of the exhibition confab, Thursday, April 16 at Caesars Palace’s Octavius Ballroom in Las Vegas, ahead of Walt Disney Studios’ presentation at 2:30pm PT. This year’s Creative Community Luncheon is sponsored by Fathom Entertainment and by D-BOX Technologies. The Mandalorian and Grogu, opens in theatres worldwide on May 22. It’s the first big Star Wars movie since 2019’s Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker . The pic stars Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver and is produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with music composed by Ludwig Göransson.
