EXCLUSIVE: The cast of Taylor Sheridan’s Frisco King continues to take shape with the addition of Asa Germann ( The Boys : Gen V ), Kai Caster , Lilah Pate ( Outer Banks ), and Savanna Gann ( English Teacher ) as series regulars. They join the previously announced lead and executive producer, Samuel L. Jackson. Additionally, long-time Sheridan collaborators Christina Alexandra Voros ( Yellowstone , Lawmen: Bass Reeves ) and Michael Friedman ( 1883 , Lioness ) will direct multiple episodes, with Voros directing the pilot. The Tulsa King spinoff is set in Frisco, TX with Sheridan writing all eight episodes. Plot details are currently under wraps for Frisco King ; however, Jackson’s character Russell Lee Washington Jr. was first introduced in the third season of Tulsa King, which premiered in September on Paramount+ . Production is set to begin later this month in Fort Worth, TX.
