SAN DIEGO - Capstone Energy+, Inc. (NASDAQ:CEPL) installed two C1000 Signature Series microturbines at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, the company said in a statement Monday. The system, delivered with BSD Builders, Inc., provides 2 megawatts of combined heat and power. The installation captures waste heat to supply heating and domestic hot water requirements, with an overall system efficiency of 75%, according to the press release.
