New details have been revealed about what visitors can expect inside the long-awaited Lucas Museum of Narrative Art when the futuristic cultural behemoth finally opens in Exposition Park this fall — including plans for two theaters, film screenings, and the public debut of a shelved animated “Star Wars” comedy series that has gone unseen for more than a decade. “Star Wars: Detours,” a comedic spin on the space saga developed by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, will finally be shown as part of programming at the museum. The series was announced back in 2012 and was designed as a series parodying the galaxy far, far away — with a tone compared to that of “The Simpsons.” The series never aired, despite 39 episodes having reportedly been completed and dozens more scripts written.
