Pedestrian killed in Gage Park crash
<p>A man was killed Sunday night after being struck by an SUV in Gage Park, Chicago police said.</p><p>A gray SUV had been traveling southbound in the 5100 block of South Western Avenue at a high rate of speed when it struck an adult man at about 10:47 p.m., police said.</p><p>The man suffered bodily trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The victim was a 63-year-old man, according to Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records.</p><p>After striking the pedestrian, the SUV lost control and struck a fixed object, police said.
