- Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) announced today the launch of the Xevo TQ Absolute XR IVD Mass Spectrometer at the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine 2026 Annual Meeting. The new system expands Waters’ MassTrak IVD System portfolio of LC-MS/MS systems for clinical laboratory testing. According to the company’s press release statement, the instrument is designed for applications in women’s health, cancer assessment, and toxicology. Waters states the system provides up to five times greater sensitivity compared to other instruments in its class, based on the company’s comparison with its existing Xevo TQ-XS IVD and the SCIEX 6500 IVD systems.
