The Air Force Falcons are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the United States Air Force Academy. They compete in NCAA-sanctioned sports and are based in El Paso County, Colorado.
Background & History
Originating as the sports representation of the United States Air Force Academy, the Falcons began competing in college athletics shortly after the academy’s establishment. The athletic department has grown to field 17 men’s and 10 women’s NCAA–sanctioned teams. Over the years, the Falcons have become a staple of collegiate sports in Colorado.
