# Bo Horvat
**Bo Horvat** is a Canadian professional ice hockey player, currently serving as alternate captain of the Vancouver Canucks in the National Hockey League (NHL). Known for his strong two-way game, faceoff proficiency, and leadership qualities, Horvat has established himself as a core player for the Canucks franchise. He was originally drafted by the Canucks in the first round, 9th overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
**He began his junior career with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he won the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award as playoff MVP in 2013, as well as two J. Ross Robertson Cup titles with the London Knights.** Following his junior success, Horvat made the jump to the NHL and quickly became a fan favorite in Vancouver, recognized for his consistent effort and offensive contributions from the center position.
