He is currently in post-production on his new action series El Gato (working title) for Amazon Prime Video , which he produced and starred in. The series, based on the comic book series El Gato Negro by Richard Dominguez, stars Boneta as Frank Guerrero, the black sheep of his family, who finds himself at the center of a vast conspiracy when he discovers his father was the titular ‘70s vigilante.
