OGDCL boosts Kal-03 well production by 1,400% after workover

OGDCL (Oil and Gas Development Company Limited) successfully boosted production at its Kal-03 well by an impressive 1,400% following a comprehensive workover operation in Sindh province, Pakistan, on June 15, 2023, as part of its strategy to enhance hydrocarbon recovery and reduce import dependency. The state-owned energy company announced that the well, which had been underperforming for several years, now produces approximately 1,200 barrels of oil per day compared to just 85 barrels before the intervention.
