The studio says the trailer reached 718.6 million views since launching on Wednesday, citing the market research firm WaveMetrix. It took just eight hours to top Deadpool & Wolverine ‘s 365 million views from two years ago. (That number also included the 100-plus million who watched the Super Bowl on TV.) For comparison’s sake, the first trailer for 2021’s Spider-Man : No Way Home reached 355.5 million views in its first 24 hours. It went on to become the highest grossing film in Sony history with $1.9 billion globally.
