French IT services firm’s operating profit reached €351 million, equivalent to a margin of 4.4% of revenue, roughly doubling from the previous year. The group reduced its workforce by 19% to 63,193 employees as part of its “Genesis” restructuring programme, which is designed to restore profitability after several years of operational and financial challenges. At the end of December, Atos reported an order backlog of €10.7 billion, representing around 1.3 years of revenue.
