What to write about
- A correction
- A page states something that is wrong, attributes a story to an outlet that did not report it, or misrepresents what a source said. Include the page URL and what specifically is wrong. These go to the front of the queue.
- A takedown or rights request
- You hold rights in material used on the site and believe our use exceeds fair use. Include the page URL and identify the specific material.
- A source enquiry
- You are a news organisation and want to change how your feed is used, how your outlet is rated, or ask to be removed from the source list.
- Licensing or API access
- You want to use our topic data, scores or feeds in a product. The public read-only API is documented at /api/v1/topics.
Before you write about a story
Every topic page lists the outlets it was built from, with links to their original articles. If your question is about the facts of a story rather than about our summary of it, the outlet that reported it is the right place to ask — we did not do that reporting. Our editorial policy explains the split.
What we cannot help with
- Removing a factually accurate report published by another news organisation. We can review our summary of it; the original is theirs.
- Guest posts, link exchanges and paid placements in editorial content.
- Personal legal, medical or financial advice.
