Reading this site means accepting what follows. It is short on purpose.

1. What the content is

Braven News now publishes machine-generated summaries and comparisons of reporting by other news organisations. It is a secondary source. The primary sources are the outlets listed on each story page, and their articles are the authoritative version of any fact you find here.

2. What the content is not

• It is not professional advice. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for a qualified professional.
• It is not a fact-check. The significance and source-trust scores measure the shape of the coverage, not the truth of a claim.
• It is not guaranteed current. Stories update as coverage develops; the “last updated” timestamp on each page tells you when it last changed.

3. Accuracy

We work to be accurate and we correct errors — see our editorial policy — but summaries produced automatically from other people’s reporting can be wrong, incomplete, or overtaken by events. Verify anything that matters against the linked sources before acting on it.

4. Reusing our content

• You may link to any page on this site freely, including in commercial contexts.
• You may quote a short extract with attribution to Braven News now and a link to the page.
• You may not republish pages wholesale, or scrape the site at volume to build a substitute for it. For bulk or programmatic use, the read-only API at /api/v1/topics is the intended route — write to us first for anything sustained.
• Headlines, article text, images and logos belonging to the source outlets remain theirs. Nothing here grants you a licence to their material.

5. Third-party links

Story pages link out to the original articles and to advertisers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Advertising is labelled; advertisers have no say in editorial content.

6. Availability

The site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, move or withdraw any page — including withdrawing a story page whose underlying reporting has been retracted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or the summaries it publishes. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
