New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani attended the funeral of Army Sergeant Angel Sarah Rampersad in Queens. She was one of three U.S. soldiers killed in an Iranian attack in Jordan on July 17. Mamdani had prepared remarks on an iPad, but his name was never called to speak. The family decided not to let him speak at the service.
