Spain to put containment fence on Ceuta's border with Morocco after frontier rush that killed 67
Spain announced it will put up a barrier on the border of its North African city Ceuta with Morocco. The decision came after a large rush of migrants tried to cross the border, during which at least 67 people died. Some drowned and others were killed in a stampede while trying to get past a breakwater. Spanish officials said about 50,000 migrants crossed into Ceuta by land and sea in the surge.
