Huge great white spotted traveling up US and Canada as shark sightings surge
A large male great white shark named Contender was seen moving north along the US and Canada coast. The shark is about 14 feet long and weighs over 1,600 pounds. Scientists tracked it off North Carolina and Maine as it headed north for summer. Shark sightings are rising as ocean temperatures increase.
