Foreign robot ban targets China over security fears

On July 28, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the agency that rules on radios and internet devices, added foreign-made advanced robots and related power equipment to its Covered List. Being on this list means companies cannot get the FCC approval they need to import or sell many new robot models in the United States.
