Family to sue after woman released from ICE custody froze to death
Daphy Michel, a 31‑year‑old Haitian woman, was released from ICE custody in February. She was dropped off in Pittsburgh during very cold weather, wearing only summer clothes. She was later found frozen to death in a bus shelter. Her family plans to sue the government and other entities.
