Democrats demand information on Trump and Lutnick families' ties to critical mineral deals

U.S. Senate Democrats have asked several federal agencies to keep records about deals involving critical minerals. They want information on any connections between those deals and the families of former President Donald Trump and businessman Howard Lutnick. The request covers the Departments of Commerce, Defense, Energy, Interior and the Export-Import Bank.
