DoJ appears to ignore New Mexico deadline for key Epstein ranch files
The attorney general of New Mexico set a 31 July deadline for the US Department of Justice to give him documents about abuse at a ranch once owned by Jeffrey Epstein. The ranch, called Zorro, is a large property in the desert outside New Mexico. The state reopened a criminal investigation into what happened there and asked for unredacted files in February. The Department of Justice did not send the files by the deadline, so it appears to have ignored the request.
