Instagram, Facebook ran AI ‘nudify’ ads from China, NGO says
Meta's Facebook and Instagram showed thousands of ads for AI apps that can create nude images from photos. The ads violated Meta's own advertising policies. The ads were delivered through a Chinese partner called GatherOne. The nonprofit Tech Transparency Project reported about 7,600 such ads in recent months.
