Greyhounds bound for Australia as New Zealand racing ban takes effect

New Zealand has banned greyhound racing, so the sport stops there. To find new homes, many greyhounds are being sent to Australia. At least two chartered planes will fly the dogs to Australia's eastern states. Each plane can carry up to 150 greyhounds.
