One in three Canadian workers used generative AI tools at work - StatCan

Statistics Canada said that about one in three Canadian workers used generative AI tools at work in the year ending March 2026. The agency found that 35.9% of workers reported using these tools for their main job or business. Most workers, 93.4%, said they knew about generative AI tools. The data comes from extra questions added to the Labour Force Survey in March 2026.
