Latest Mideast strikes between U.S. and Iran draw Saudi Arabia into conflict

The United States and Saudi Arabia carried out airstrikes on Iran-backed militia bases in Iraq. The strikes came after the militias attacked U.S. and Saudi interests. Saudi Arabia's defense minister later met with U.S. Vice President Vance and said the kingdom still wants to lower tensions with Iran. Iraq's government called the attacks a violation of its sovereignty and canceled a planned visit to Saudi Arabia.
