Wisconsin Dem socialist governor hopeful dodges whether she still wants to ‘abolish police’

Francesca Hong, a Democratic socialist state representative from Wisconsin, is running for governor. At a Marquette University event, a reporter asked her if she still wants to abolish the police. She did not give a clear answer, instead saying money should go to crime‑prevention programs. Earlier in a debate she said she would keep police funding.
