Lucy Postins began making dog food in her kitchen in 2001 to help her dog Mosi with ear infections. She turned her homemade recipes into a business called The Honest Kitchen. The company grew to be worth about $250 million. She stepped down as CEO to spend more time with her children but still works as Chief Integrity Officer.
