Mountaineer Nirmal Purja killed in Pakistan avalanche, his company says

Nirmal Purja, a famous Nepali-born mountaineer, died in an avalanche on Broad Peak in Pakistan. The avalanche hit his team of ten climbers on Thursday, and all of them were confirmed dead. His company, Elite Exped, announced the tragedy and said the world has lost a great climber.
