NASA Assigns Astronaut Deniz Burnham to First Space Station Mission

NASA has chosen astronaut Deniz Burnham for her first flight to the International Space Station. She will serve as a flight engineer on Expedition 76. Burnham will launch in March 2027 on a Russian Soyuz spacecraft with two cosmonauts. The crew will stay on the station for about seven months.
