
Watchdog unleashes database to expose 'loopholes' as $5B in foreign cash floods US nonprofits
Americans for Public Trust, a transparency advocacy group, has launched a new online database. The database shows more than five billion dollars of foreign money given to US nonprofit organizations. It lists 523 groups and over twelve thousand donation records that are not required to reveal donor names under current law. The tool aims to make this information searchable for the public.
